I paid my electric bill today, In 2020, I was paying $200 a month. Today my bill was $700 and looking at the account history, I am within a few KW of what it was August 2020. Three times what it was under Trump. My water bill has doubled, gasoline is still twice what it was. Groceries range anywhere from twice as much to 5 times as much as what I was paying 2 years ago. My 401K lost 20%, Biden has been an abysmal failure. If Trump does run in 2024, all he has to do is run "I Told You So" ads, every policy Biden supports and the result with Trump saying "I told you so" at the end.

@ManKing My 401 dropped a full 20%, it seems to be slowly recovering but it will probably set my retirement back a few years. I am counting on some changes in November that might accelerate the recovery.

@ManKing Welcome to the red pill group. I am almost 56, I plan on retiring at 60. If the economy doesn't pick up, I will have to wait till 62. I started planning when I was about 40, I refinanced my house, paid off almost everything. I have some property I inherited where I plan to retire, I won't have any bills except utilities and taxes. I am a veteran so I plan on using the VA for health care. I have been a mechanic all my life, I can pretty much take care of any problems with my home or car and motorcycles. I had my red pill moment before there was a red pill thing. I grew up in a democrat family, while I was growing up, voters in my family were straight ticket democrats, but things never got better. When I turned 18, I voted for Reagan and never looked back. I wish us both a speedy recovery in the retirement department.
