You might have heard people talking about the 24th of September being "a day that everyone will remember where they were" like September 11

But it might have been a case of someone accidentally saying the wrong thing. I guess we'll know in a few days.
Here's the clip people are freaking out over.

Then I watched this video which made the whole thing seem even more likely.

But you can't believe everything you hear.
Upon further investigation I found this article:
https://thewashingtonstandard.com/german-legislator-warns-of-september-24th-everyone-will-remember-exactly-where-he-or-she-was-video/
Basically, he meant to say "February" and was actually talking about the war in Ukraine. If I understood German I'd watch the full version myself but if anyone here does and feels like watching that part in the full video, please let me know what he said. There's an auto translate into English option but auto translate isn't always accurate. Also, I've never heard of The Washington Standard before, so I don't know how reliable of a source it is.

Either way, this could be a good learning experience for people.
If it turns out to be true, then there's evidence they knew something really bad was going to happen and did nothing to prevent it, probably caused it and certainly didn't really try to warn anyone. Simply saying it once here isn't the same thing as giving out an official warning.
If it turns out to be wrong and the guy simply misspoke, then it's a lesson in not believe everything you hear, especially when it's one little clip of a longer speech.

i really think that he meant to say September 24th. its supposed to be as big as 9/11 right? them invading Ukraine on February 24th wasn't a big deal or event like September 11th most people don't remember exactly where they were on February 24th like they do on 9/11 so how does that compare to 9/11?
@texasborn89 then how do you explain him saying the reason we'll remember it is the invasion of Ukraine that happened on February 24th?

@NerdyPotato i don't know it's possible that nothing happens on the 24th we'll just have to wait and see what happens i suppose. but I won't be surprised if something happens though. also I do believe that they know that something very bad will happen soon and probably caused it like the original poster said
@texasborn89 I wouldn't be surprised if something bad happens in 3 days, but that's because the world is shitty at the moment and bad things happen every day now, not because someone misspoke 7 months ago.
