After Catching ‘Peeping Tom’ Outside Daughter’s Window, Father Epically Executes His 2nd Amendment Right

A Texas man who confronted a peeping Tom outside his daughter’s bedroom window this week told police he fired his gun after the voyeur lunged at him with a knife.

The incident took place around 10:30 p.m. Wednesday at an apartment complex in northwestern San Antonio.

According to KENS-TV, the daughter spotted the unknown man through her window and ran to tell her father.

The father stepped outside to confront the stranger, who produced a knife and lunged at him.

The dad told police he pulled out his handgun and fired several times, according to the report.

San Antonio police told KENS that they did not find anyone with gunshot wounds.

An aerial search by the police department’s Blue Eagle helicopter unit did not locate anyone.

San Antonio police told the local news outlet that the father is not expected to be charged.

WOAI reported that police were still investigating the incident.

The assailant was described as a bearded man in his 30s.

It's becoming more apparent that Americans love violence, death and war. Peeping Tom is bad but does a man have to die for it?
SW-User
@RocktheHouse he's worse than just a peeping tom. A peeping tom at least has shame enough to run when caught, not produce a knife and attack a father that's trying to protect his daughter.
SW-User
@RocktheHouse Self defence is extremly important but can work in many different ways. Violence and death are unecessary.
@SW-User If it happened the way the father said. If the man pulled the knife and lunged at him first. Of course, the father is going to say that's the way it happened. We have no evidence to suggest it didn't happen that way, nor do we have evidence to corroborate the story. However, I think it was too hasty to just shoot at someone out of anger and without thinking. What if the person was mentally ill or something?
SW-User
@RocktheHouse Also the father stepped outside with the gun therefore already planning to use it. If the guy came at him with a knife a shot to the leg would have done it. Why fire several times.
@SW-User Exactly! That's intent to kill.
SW-User
@RocktheHouse Of course we don't really know whats going on but a man's primary concern is his family's safety. What some other individual has going on with him is his own problem especially if he is going to come at me with a knife, I'm going to defend myself and it might be deadly
SW-User
@RocktheHouse Oh okiee, so you'd do nothing if a man "lunged at you with a knife"? 🤣

He didn't fire shots because this guy was perving at his daughter through a window, but because that guy tried to attack him with a knife that he could have been fatally wounded by.

Some people would say there was no need for him to have gone out with a gun, but he clearly did this *in case* the guy was armed himself, and duh...he WAS.
SW-User
@RocktheHouse
mentally ill or something?

😂😂😂🤦🏻‍♀️

Doesn't make any difference if they are lunging at you with a knife.
SW-User
@SW-User Yeah I don't understand what people think happens when you're in a situation like that.

I guess the father should have first gone outside to find out if the nice fellow appreciating his daughters physique might be harbouring a weapon and only thereafter run back inside and get his gun???

Indeed. There are details missing.

@SW-User Was it an intent to kill? Or, was it an intent to protect his home and family? You assume a man protecting his family has evil intent and the guy willing to stab him while peeping is pure of heart. How comfortable would you be with a strange man peeping in the window at your daughter?
graphite · 61-69, M
@RocktheHouse Let's have somebody do this to your daughter and see how nonchalant you are about it?
SW-User
@graphite He'd probably enjoy it 🙄
SW-User
@Roadsterrider There are other meassures and implements one can defend and protect others with and if a gun is used someone should be highly trained so that only one or two non lethal shots can take out an attacker.
I believe the accessability of guns in the US made people crazy and careless.

@SW-User
There are other meassures and implements one can defend and protect others

I agree. The father should have said pretty please.
SW-User
@SW-User You could argue that it's *because* of the accessibility of guns that he felt the need to confront this man with a gun. In all liklihood, he thought he was probably armed himself...which isn't such a difficult concept to grasp when you consider it's America, is it?

How would you have confronted him?
SW-User
@SW-User That's a good point. Guns circulating in masses amongst citizens is a vicious circle.

Baseball bat and mace probably that's how i defend myself.
graphite · 61-69, M
@SW-User Guns have been circulating throughout the USA for 260 years. It's only when the country shed its Christian values that guns have become a problem.
SW-User
@SW-User What if there's no baseball bat or mace?

If I were her parent, I'd be upset for my daughter but also very concerned for other children. Him having a knife is worrying to say the least.

To me, it suggests he may have been wanting to threaten girls he spied on OR worse. That's someone who should be kept inside a prison cell.
SW-User
@SW-User What if there is no gun? If one does not believe in guns then there should be always other means available.

It is worrying and the person belongs in prison for sure but also deserves a trial and not to be shot in the head.
wildbill83 · 36-40, M
Pacifists amuse me, especially when they're confronted by violence; the look of confusion and despair on their faces when they realize that hiding behind platitudes doesn't work... 🤔
graphite · 61-69, M
@wildbill83 Give the crook a big hug and some affordable housing and we should be good to go, right?
SW-User
@SW-User It seems like you liberals are disappointed he wasn't shot in the head though 🤷🏻‍♀️😆
SW-User
@SW-User 🤔
Please don't call me a liberal 🤢
