I'm Sick of Governors DeSantis and Abbott Playing the Race Card With Undocumented Immigrants. So Let's Do This.

Florida and Texas aren't shy at all about being opposed to virtually any type of reasonable control gun proposals. So let's send Florida and Texas all those convicted of gun crimes once they're out of prison. And send them via Greyhound; it's a more efficent use of taxpayer dollars than flying them or busing them in first-class bus coaches.

After all, it's Red States that are exporting most of the guns used in crimes in Blue States. So let's send them the criminals using those guns.

How Gun Traffickers Get Around State Gun Laws
Where guns used in crimes came from
Arrow sizes show the number of guns traced to other states in 2014

Chicago offers perhaps the starkest example of trafficking. There are no retail gun dealers within city limits, because Chicago has some of the tightest municipal gun regulations. Yet bringing a gun into Chicago can be as simple as driving less than an hour to a gun show in Indiana, where private sales are not recorded and do not require a background check.

“If you’re in the city of Chicago on the South Side, you may be closer to Indiana than you are to the Magnificent Mile,” said Roseanna Ander, executive director of the University of Chicago Crime Lab, referring to a well-known part of Chicago’s downtown.

@Oster1

I'm serious!

In fact, I'd say we should spring for a box lunch for the bus trip - and give them some $$$ once they prove they've lived in a Red State for 2 years after being releaased.

@beckyromero Although I agree with your right to express your opinion, I fervently disagree, with the context. Everyone of these relocated people, agreed too, and signed an affidavit. It's interesting to me, how you and others on this post, tried to interject other topics, not pertaining to the topic at hand to somehow strengthen their argument. I'm not connecting.

@Oster1

Anything signed under duress is not a legal agreement. It's coercion - and it potentially opens the drafting party up to liability and possible criminal prosecution.

Furthermore, if Gov's DeSantis and Abbott were promising undocumented immigrants JOBS, well, you do know there are criminal penalties for hiring undocumented immigrants.
@Oster1
signed an affidavit.
Actually they signed a release saying essentially they wouldn't hold DeSantis responsible regardless of how the flight ended up. HOWEVER.

According to Quora, to prove you were tricked into signing a contract,
you will generally need to prove the following: (1) a representation was made to you, (2) the representation was false, (3) the person who made the representation knew it was false or made it recklessly without knowledge of the truth, (4) the person who made the representation made it to induce you to sign the contract, and (5) you were harmed as a result.

Also,
Fraud == A false representation of a matter of fact - whether by words or by conduct, by false or misleading allegations, or by concealment of what should have been disclosed - that deceives and is intended to deceive another so that the individual will act upon it to her or his legal injury.

Those brochures DeSantos gave the people sure look like physical evidence of fraud, but we'll have to wait for a court to decide.

@ElwoodBlues Please, some always twist and misconstue, only to be always proven wrong on every 'current thing' issue. I'm trying to be kind.
Some of us know better, and can't be fooled, so easily. 😉
Oster1 · M
@beckyromero There was no coercion or duress, in my research, including actual videos. Perhaps, you have been 'fooled', with the Venezuela illegals, inspired legal suit, brought by the lies of the left. I understand.
@Oster1 Instead, there were fraudulent representations made to the people, as evidenced by the phony brochures. I understand they even got the Mass state flag wrong on those brochures.

Those releases are invalid if the signatures were obtained fraudulently. We'll have to see how it comes out in court.

@ElwoodBlues We shall. What I see is two front runners for President, constantly being harassed and entangled in Lawfare, with constant MSM dishonesty and grounds for an election meddling case.

I repeat:

Anything signed under duress is not a legal agreement.

Discovery can ruin your day.

@beckyromero No, it won't. The Administration will fly illegals, nightly, across the US. They are participating in the largest Human Trafficking Operation, in World History. Where is your outcry? Crocodile tears, perhaps!
@Oster1 says

You mean like the EIGHT (8) separate republican controlled Congressional committees, each of which SEPARATELY investigated Hillary Clinton? With HOURS of sworn testimony??

hey are participating in the largest Human Trafficking Operation, in World History
Trafficking implies involuntary or consent obtained by fraud. So where's the evidence of involuntary travel in your claim? Where's the evidence of fraud?? If you think it's trafficking then why have all your state attorneys general remained silent???
Oster1 · M
@ElwoodBlues Why are you always wrong, Elwood?
@Oster1 You can't address my questions and criticism so you opt for the ad hominem fallacy?? LOL!!!

Oster1 · M
@ElwoodBlues How so Elwood? This doesn't work anymore!
@Oster1 You said
They are participating in the largest Human Trafficking Operation, in World History
Then I said:

Trafficking implies involuntary or consent obtained by fraud. So where's the evidence of involuntary travel in your claim? Where's the evidence of fraud?? If you think it's trafficking then why have all your state attorneys general remained silent???

And then you invoked an ad hominem fallacy. It's really pretty simple.
Oster1 · M
@ElwoodBlues You really have no bearings. Why do you, keep trying?
@Oster1 LOL, MORE personal attacks!!! You can't address my questions and criticism so you opt for the ad hominem fallacy?? LOL!!!

Oster1 · M
@ElwoodBlues And you keep chasing a rainbow, Elwood!

I long ago, stated my position! 😉
