No it isn't the media.
Trump supporters went away/silent for a while, but now they've been reactivated.
This site has lots of people against Trump for explicit reasons.
This site has many for Trump, but the reasons and up being tied up in emotions (which is one part of how they were manipulated into believing a string of lies & ever-changing/ever-evolving conspiracy theories).
Many Trump people have blocked or been blocked by many anti-Trump people.
If you have blocked no one, you are probably seeing a purer version of this site.
Oh, and Trump supporters might well be more inclined to start posts; Republicans/conservatives are more likely to answer polls than Democrats/liberals, and Trump supporters are all in the first basket, so...

@SomeMichGuy I was meaning in the wider context, on this site I haven't blocked anyone and I see posts on both sides trying to stir things up and I just think troll...
SomeMichGuy · M
@CheekyBadger I was replying to @being...are you "her", too?

@SomeMichGuy Why do you assume that Trump supporters have been manipulated?
It's incredible how liberals won't consider the possibility that Trump supporters are aware of his faults (and of any potential crimes), but are prepared to overlook that for the sake of "saving" their country.
Regardless of what you think about Trump, Biden is a terrible leader and democrats *have* become more extreme.

@SW-User A President who violated his Oath of Office and was actively part of a multi-pronged attack to steal the election and remain in power at all costs, including
• suborning perjury & election fraud
• slates of fake electors
• the Jan. 6 insurrection
is NOT saving the country.
Anyone who sees him as he is cannot also think he is trustworthy to hold that office...or even be dog catcher.

@SomeMichGuy Yeah, yeah. That's only your opinion, and it doesn't answer my question.

@SW-User Biden has *actual* accomplishments, not "always coming real soon now" vaporware.
That's leadership.
Rallies are not leadership.

@SomeMichGuy Uh, Trump had *actual* accomplishments too. For someone who was not a politician and had no experience in government, he accomplished a lot.
It's really difficult to argue that he was not proactive as a leader, but obviously it's impossible for you to recognize that because you're so filled with bias. There is being critical of someone, and then there is having an obsession with them to the point of total intellectual compromise. Whatever issue you have with Trump, it has led you to be incapable of reason lol.
You're just as extreme as some of his supporters are.

Yes, Trump signed a bill to make animal cruelty a federal crime. And perhaps his moving of the US embassy in Israel helped a number of countries to normalize relations with Israel.
But his other accomplishments include
• lying more than any other recent President,
• INCLUDING lies about the pandemic which helped create the unnecessary DEATHS of 100s of 1000s of Americans;
• ripping apart many families seeking asylum/immigration here, withOUT the info required to reunite these families;
• failing to use his Presidential powers to fix the PPE problem;
• making up crazy "cures" for CoViD;
• creating an agreement with the Taliban to leave Afghanistan...believing them;
• backing out of an arms control agreement with Iran, precipitating Iran's backing out of a treaty with observation, etc.;
• leaving our local helpers the Kurds high and dry, which simultaneously helped boost the strong man of Syria AND make it so that local stakeholders will be less likely to work with the US in the future;
• gave North Korea the gold ring of a Presidential visit to sign NO agreement, and which has emboldened that authoritarian regime to continue to test nuclear weapons systems, threatening our regional allies and us;
• further encouraging North Korea by talking about their leader's lovely letters, falling in love...;
• kissing Putin's butt to help embolden him against Navalny & to take action against Ukraine;
• warmly welcoming White Supremacists into his orbit;
• (attempting to) suborn perjury & election fraud;
• conspiring to produce fraudulent slates of electors;
• conspiring to hold power via force, including
• conspiring to overthrow the government via insurrection;
• making us the laughingstock of our allies;
• getting the rest of the free world to look to the German Chancellor as "the leader of the free world";
• removing inheritance taxes on the very rich, increasing our deficit;
• removing other taxes on the very rich, again increasing our deficit;
• NOT removing the "carried interest" tax provision which helps the very rich;
• via these tax changes, helping some of the very least needy--a few billionaires--double their assets in a few years;
• not building "the Wall";
• not "locking her up".
Yes, he accomplished much...

@Canicu69 We are all going to have to change, and Europe is feeling the bite of the war Russia started, coupled with not moving fast enough.
If you had been paying attention, Carter was *right*. Had we listened to him, we'd not be worrying about petroleum markets so much, etc.
The whole world will be changing how it creates, stores, and uses energy.

@SomeMichGuy That "list" of yours is hilarious 😂 Half of it isn't even worth addressing because it's a.) just opinion, or b.) just opinion and complete trash.
Isn't Trump the one who introduced the Covid-19 vaccines in the U.S? Is that one of his "crazy cures"?
https://www.statnews.com/2020/05/15/trump-audacious-plan-vaccine-covid19/
Trump said that white supremacists and neo-Nazis should be "condemned totally", so where is his support for them? And what about the plethora of racist remarks Biden has made over the years? Biden actually helped author a bill that would see countless black Americans unfairly locked up, isn't that kind of racist?

No.
Trump wouldn't know a vaccine from a rhino's left nut.
He helped by allowing parallel testing and offered money to help encourage others to do work which he never understood...and then did everything possible to derail the acceptance of it, which is one reason why we lost several 100,000s of American lives for no reason.
I have never worshipped Biden, said he is without flaws, etc. Hell, he's part of why Thomas is on our Supreme Court.
But he got a plan to get the vaccines distributed, and encouraged people to do so, in spite of the damage Trump did to accepting the vaccine.
Trump's underlying anti-vaxx acceptance/embtace has encouraged the Jenny McCarthy wing of American Neo-Luddites to stop getting the polio vaccine--how's that for throwing out the Preamble to the Constitution, or the end of the Declaration's paragraph which mentions life, liberty, and the pursuit of happiness?
My list has more truth in it than the vague "oh, but look at Trump's accomplishments"...
But again, you ARE pro-Trump, and just not serious.
Go change your costume & get ready for your next pole dance.

@SW-User No, it's obvious. The arc from Trump's NOT
• handling the pandemic quickly and with the power of his office,
• getting the vaccine in public, with his wife & the leaders of BOTH parties in the House & Senate;
• telling/commanding his sheep to get it;
• telling the truth about *why* the transmission method makes it a bad thing [which he admitted, on the record, to Bob Woodward];
• simply backing his own experts;
• being able to shut up.about crazy alternative "cures";
• having a *real* distribution plan;
to where we are NOW is obvious. And its effects on other vaccinations...the polio cases are part of that, a shot over the public health bow.
Not your bruh, guy in your Mom's basement.
You need to get your cat costume on and go do your next pole dance.
Yeah, we still say "costume" when it makes sense...like that.
