You want to change things until it falls on you to change it.

Traffic and infrastructure are one of the most confronting problems in the US right now, resulting in literal death. But why does no one respond when I post about it? Because it starts with you. You don't want to change it. You only want to talk about things that someone else has to change. You piss me off.

So I'll give you the most useful bit of political advice I ever received. Do you want to be right, or do you want to win?

@SinlessOnslaught Do it, do it, do it, do it, do it. And then maybe more cities will follow suit.

@Graylight No more taking a half hour to travel 8 miles (my daily life).

@SinlessOnslaught Dear God, it's getting bad where I live, the fastest growing county in the state and 7th fastest in the nation. Lights can take entire songs and then some, and these were lights that used to last 12-30 seconds. It would be explainable except that it's all made the traffic worse than it was before.
I have read your posts on this subject.

I don’t comment on most posts I read.

It is a subject dear to me as one of my best friends was killed on the highway in South Carolina.
@SinlessOnslaught What do you want me to say? My late wife’s best friend, and a dear friend of mine, was killed on the highway in South Carolina years ago. My late wife never got over it. There was something weird about it. I pulled the weather, satellite images of the site. She was a super careful woman. Her car was in good shape. She was killed instantly from the velocity of the side impact. I knew something was hinky from from the lack of contributory factors. Rain, sun in her eyes. I knew something was hinky when the news story was pulled from the local news sites, and scrubbed from caches. And I knew something was hinky when I hired a private investigator and they got railroaded. It was an infrastructure problem. Of course I shared this before. Now you get it a second time. Glad to hear your suggestions on how it could have been prevented.

@CopperCicada Yes, my very real suggestions on how it could have been prevented and I still don't know why you're arguing against me.

@CopperCicada Are you saying you agree but don't comment because it's too painful?
