Why are the Mayors of sanctuary cities upset

When buses pull up full of illegal immigrants?
Isn't that the whole reason of being a sanctuary city?
krf336 · M
They arent happy because they actually dont care about imigrants or they're own citizens for that matter.
The only reason they claimed to be sanctuary cities is because it was politically as far away from Trump's immigration policy as they could get. And they never had to deal with it because they arent on the southern border.
Now texas and florida got smart and are bussing them up to their cities and the mayors/governors are having to deal with overcrowding and underfunding and are feeling the effects of their own stupid policies.

@krf336 Arizona is bussing them out as well!

@ShaneMckay Awesome! Keep them going! And double the busses! Drop them on pelosi and schumer's doorsteps.
And i mean literally, take them to their houses, open the bus doors and tell them free health care is inside.

God Bless Governor Abbot. Adams calls 500 to his city in a month “horrific”. Come see what 5000 a day looks like. And see the communities they poor into.

The mayors of these cities should be funding the "import" of these illegals to their cities.

Why?

Because they're not experiencing regular immigration but a sudden sharp rise, which is a flawed pattern.

Because only in the US could it be seen as a comeuppance to burden another state simply out of spite and to prove a point. "United" states.

Because there's a whole segment of the population, it turns out, that doesn't find playing with peoples' lives for smirking rights is a decent use of the human skills we possess. We still owe families hundreds of children we lost and for whom we aren't looking. Every one of those children is a lost life.

And because if this nation can treat people like this, what in God's name could we be in for down the line?

@FreeSpirit1 you have two small children in this scenario. Your husband is dead or missing. You can no longer feed your children because there is no work and it's very likely there are people looking for you. You can already read off the names of friends and associates who have died of preventative accidents or outright violence. And the answer to this is a new life in the United States, the place of hopes and dreams and opportunity. And you can get there...but you're going to have to wait about 8 years. 8 years to feed your children, to properly clothe them, to live free of the fear of danger and to obtain some opportunity for your future.

Or you can make a life endangering decision to do something the absolute hardest way possible and with the most risk. Now what could be your reasoning for that? Something serious, I would suppose.

Regardless of your political standing, each and every one of us was taught not to judge someone until we've walked a mile in their shoes. A good Christian was taught to open his door and his world to anyone in need.

But you are the party of I Got Mine and I have no idea what you people stand for.
@Graylight 99.9 percent of the people crossing our southern border don't fall into the scenario you mention. Most just want a better life and don't like to follow immigration rules.

@FreeSpirit1 Not true. Try again.
Yeah. They should be happy. Goes to show nothing makes dissonant minds happy
