How does one start a new political party in the US?

I know lots of money and a lot of people that agree with you is needed, but what else does one need to make it a legitimate political party. I want to start a new one called the Common Sense Party, since it seems the major partys we have now don't have any.

Partys aren't the problem. The problem is that big money interests meddle with both elections and the making of laws.

That's why both partys sound nuts sometimes and that's why the Democrats seem to have lost their minds completely.

A new party would be just as susceptible to the bribes.

1. Former government employees taking jobs in huge companies after they hold important jobs in government. (Reward Bribes)

2. Elected people who get major contributions into their "non profit" corporations. Aka Bribed

3. Superpacs. Lobbyists. Bailouts. SEC actions that benefit the major players.

4. Misuse of Federal Bureaus and investigatory branches that ignore wrongdoing by everyone on the inside.

Its a mess. That's why we call it a swamp.

Get em all out of there. Vote for the underdogs.

@SteelHands The people in government are only in that position because the voters consciously put them there. If you want your government to work for you, take your place at the oars.

@Graylight yeah I'll get right on that.

Which issue should I address first?

Crappy public education, colleges that indoctrinate insane socialist beliefs and perverted ideas of life, nosebleed taxes for workers, free rides for millionaire political contributors and their kids, rising crime rates, profiteering private prisons, unchecked entry by criminal cartels, vast budgetary waste, left wing election propaga, illegal mail in voting, deceased SS check collecting, duplicated address changes lacking ballot updating through every city, dept. Of education construction cartels, prescription pushers, phoney non profits, the several 1000$ military toilet seat or three hundred dollar pair of pliers, million dollar research grants for the social life of ants, those 1000 dollar haircuts for the house members...

Perhaps we should start with the many tens of thousands of six figure paid people who work for the house in unelected positions.

Or the several thousand FBI "field agents" not catching serial killers but fixing up fake dossiers?

Or maybe the agency that's been collecting every shred of personal info on every citizen and storing it in gargantuan servers scattered around UTah and a few other places.

Or zee half million 100 grand a ticket motherland zekurity agents scattered all over every human cluster in every place anyone works?

You really are a dreamer. Lol

@SteelHands How did you think government works?

It's a rhetorical question. The only one interested in talking at length is you.

@Graylight It either carries out its constitutional reason abilities or behaves like a criminal cartel as we saw in Bidens speech a couple nights back. Trying to fill the countries head with its stupid.

@SteelHands Such a binary world you live in.
