It's not just King County, it's everywhere.

Politician wanting to legalize heroin and make the government a complicit participant in the poisoning of our youth are the pied pipers of human misery.

No thanks to democrats, there's more issues to be concerned with than the fate of heroin addicts. The culture of our education system, the desire of the left to destroy America, the economy, the border, national defense, etc. The left loses on all counts.

I agree that the left is better at getting people addicted to drugs and keeping them that way.

well, it would take a little time to fix stuff, but yes. The border / immigration issue would rapidly be corrected. At the same time closing a wide open door for drug cartels. I realize that doesn't resolve the drug problems - but it certainly would help. Reversing the business crushing policies implemented by Biden and the economy would immediately respond positively. Biden fucked things up pretty good - even correcting all that he did, it will take some time for things to shake out. Same for energy - Biden has been choking traditional energy industries. Return a favorable business environment for them won't switch everything back over night, but we can regain our energy independence. Ensuring that parents have choices as to where to send their kids for school will probably kill teacher unions over time - unless they turn their interest back to educating children.

And, I'm not sure what problem our heritage is anyway.

People problems is a rather broad subject. You would have to be more specific.
Of course, you can beat this until one of us tires of the other.
But, my initial response covers most of the issues the people will be voting on in November and 2024.
