What explains the rest of the stupid?

“I was exhausted. When you’re campaigning 18 hours a day you, listen, I’ve gotten my kids’ names wrong as well. I don’t think that’s a measure of someone’s ability to lead the commonwealth,” [Dr.] Oz told Newsmax on Wednesday when asked about why he said “Wegners,” a cross between the Redner’s and Wegmans chains.

He apparently chose not to address the obvious fact he doesn't shop, doesn't exist within the middle class and is obtuse enough to think anyone's buying his act. Oh, wait a minute...

Its also ridiculous because this wasn't some whistlestop where he was making remarks and slipped up. This was a video, shot and released. So apparently no one on his staff thought this looked horrible, even beyond the moronic things he was saying and the mashing up of two local stores.

I swear Fetterman doesn't even have to say anything, just making some tweets after Oz fucks up.
In a recent poll, Fetterman is ahead by 18 points, and this is without campaigning for the past few months.

You may be on to something. Wait until he starts brining Trump along, for this media appearances. Or campaign rallies.
Lila15 · 22-25, F
It’s inexcusable because Oz isn’t just a doctor, he’s been a media personality for decades and should know better.

Never mind his obvious BS (that's a turn of phrase btw, obviously you guys should care about his BS), what I simply cannot wrap my head around is how a guy who has Turkish citizenship, regularly votes in Turkish elections and SERVED IN THE TURKISH ARMY FFS!, is even allowed to run for office!!!!!

I just don't get it. Sorry, but your political system is bloody weird.
AbbySvenz · F
Sorry, but why would you want somebody so careless out in charge..?
hunkalove · 61-69, M
I don't remember what election it was but someone in the press began asking candidates questions like how much does a gallon of milk cost or a loaf of bread or a pound of hamburger. Most of them had no idea.
He was approved by the Stable Genius now he owes him his loyalty.

If he wins he'll fit right in in Washington DC.
@FreeSpirit1 There sure seem to be a lot more dumb Republicans - Louie Gohmert, MTG, Lauren Boebert, Tommy Tuberville...

Oz is down by double digits, so the only place he's going is back to New Jersey. But he's not dumb, maybe you're unaware that the guy is a renowned heart surgeon in addition to peddling quack remedies on Oprah.
FreeSpirit1 · 51-55, F
@LeopoldBloom who said dumb? I said dope. And you are a hardcore partisan if you think one party has more dopes than the other. Washington DC is the Dope capital of the United States
@FreeSpirit1 OK, you're just spouting generic insults. Oz is a fraud and a grifter, but a "dope" he is not. He was a Professor of Surgery at Columbia University Hospital and holds patents on several techniques and devices related to heart surgery.

Did he point a gun at anyone?
@redredred He’s pro second amendment so you should like him. Also a Trump endorsed conservative Republican in case you were going to trash him.
Graylight · 51-55, F
@redredred Is that the benchmark? "Sir, you are accused of funneling 5.1 million dollars of the company's money into your bank account. What say you?"

"What? I didn't point a gun at anyone."

Do you think before you speak, ever?
redredred · M
@Graylight Too-tall did
dale74 · M
All politicians are already out of touch before they run for office.
Graylight · 51-55, F
@dale74 Easy, lazy answer.
Zonuss · 41-45, M
Take a deep breath and relax..
