Why on Earth does he lie about something so easily proved a lie?? What a psycho.
@Vin53 dont say those negative things about yourself, yull always be the mule if you do. 🤓
@Vin53 It is his nature.
Strictgram · 70-79, C
@Vin53 DOJ admitted to taking passports. Does Trump hatred have no limits?
@Strictgram "Taken" under an authorized raid is NOT "stolen".
SW-User
@SomeMichGuy really? Ok you tell me one credible reason relating to the warrant they would have for them being "taken" - because if their isn't one they were in fact stolen
Vin53 · M
Your passport is property of the United States Government. It cannot be "stolen" by them.

@SW-User
SW-User
@Vin53 That's disingenuous
@SW-User

Did you read the warrant?
SW-User
@SomeMichGuy To the best of my ability. Oh. Stop him fleeing to another country? Wouldn't they need seperate authority for that though? I hate open questions like yours. I'm ADD 😂

I don't recall passports on the warrant on any classification in the warrant passports would fall under *head tilt*

Was there? Am I missing something?
@SW-User Yeah. You didn't read it.
Vin53 · M
I'm sorry but we're past the point of pleasantries aren't we. Your boy is being investigated for espionage, for god fucking sake, the FBI simply took back the keys to a private plane leaving the US.

@SW-User
@SW-User Here's a hint: re-read Attachment B (Property to be siezed), paragraph a.

Here's a link to the document for online viewing:

At least one of those passports was for exclusive US federal employ. Expired the day he left office.

@Vin53 In the case of a President? He would always have a Diplomatic passport I would've thought - just like he would still get a federal salary and protection - at least that is how it works in my country re ongoing pay and conditions - but I'll accept what you say
Vin53 · M
There is no diplomatic passport.

@SW-User
SW-User
@SomeMichGuy so essentially if the passports hadn't been co- located they might not have been taken? *scratches head*
Or am I still missing something? 😭
SW-User
@Vin53 I work for Federal Government so a lot of what you are stating as facts don't sound right to me

But because it is your country and you sound so certain I was prepared to give you the benefit of the doubt

So I did what I usually do and searched until I was satisfied I had the general facts

For those this was informative

@SW-User RIGHT! 😊😊😊
If they were with any of the materials covered in the scope of the warrant, then the warrant REQUIRES their seizure.

We don't know anything about the exact circumstances, but it's entirely possible that any passports were in boxes with other papers he removed from the White House, etc.

Until we have ACTUAL facts, we only have speculation, but the scenario I posited makes sense.

If any of the classified materials were, e.g., sitting out in a room--in a pile of papers, on top of something, in an open box--then I bet the entire contents of the room would have to be taken. But he might have had some in a file cabinet or desk, and the contents of the cabinet or desk would have to be taken.

Or they could ALL have been in the safe...which would be a very typical place, right? It's very easy to imagine them being with other important documents covered under the scope of this warrant.
@SW-User The non-Google version of your link:

Good read!
@SW-User Thanks again for the Newsweek article.

I also agreed with your statement:

Most people who have travelled have older, expired passports which tell stories with all their stamped pages. 😊
SW-User
@SomeMichGuy man people who were adults pre internet used to love getting stamps sooo bad 😂

Some countries had really bland stamps, some were really elaborate and exotic

I also have experience organising itineries for overseas travel for Ministers and functionaries

I had thought of your scenario but I did appreciate being walked through it and reminded of the virtue of temperance. You're completely right, that there is an innocuous explanation and we have to bring the temperature down and wait and see 👍. 🙂
@SW-User I LOVED getting stamps! And when Europe was divided by Churchill's "Iron Curtain", even more fun.

I was in a countries which no longer exist...

It was annoying when some countries treated the stamp as optional. lol
@SW-User And thank you for your very complimentary words!

I very much appreciate them.

RE: Trump's docs
I am MUCH more worried about the classified stuff which might have been accessible by MANY people.

The "SCI" level is really serious.
SW-User
@SomeMichGuy I know exactly what you mean! I saw a pro democracy demonstration in Leningrad in the last year of the USSR! And bought a Gorbachev T-shirt 😂 that didn't have his birthmark and unraveled after 3 wears

Ah, good times.
