If "the Country is on fire" should the DOJ negotiate with the arsonist?

I personally don't think so, but I'm not one of the millions who voted to drain the swamp without a plan as to what the results would be if we did it.

Nope. And when people say we shouldn't prosecute Trump because people will riot, we should prosecute anyway, because no one is above the law, and we shouldn't be bullied into accepting criminality at any level. If they riot, we stop them by all appropriate means, including military action if necessary.
