Do you think Ron DeSantis can win over the MAGA crowd in 2024?

I'm fairly sure he realizes without their support the GOP will be splintered reducing significantly his chance for winning. Thoughts?

Trump is the whole key for him even considering running.

Given that there really is no one else strong enough to weld that unyielding crowd. So he will run if Trump doesn't run.

Not that I believe he is any better. In some ways worse.
