Looking at the entire population of the United States, 15-20 million is a disturbingly high number, but not a majority and not a surprise. These people lack IQ levels, morals, education, common sense and other basic needs that contribute to reasoning skills. They are still at that number a minority, and could be eliminated over time.

@BackyardShaman When you say eliminated...you mean undoing the brainwashing right?
@BackyardShaman I think that they are undereducated and don't understand a lot of things, but I think that they have been led via anger into a strange land where they believe that they *are* moral, ethical, etc., because of the toxic mix of nationalism, guns, and "evangelical" Christianity.

It strokes their egos to say that THEY "see"/"know"/"understand" things which educated, experienced, thoughtful people don't. And giving their finger to educated, experienced, thoughtful people makes them feel good, and they are now being encouraged to terrorize/be violent against some people who don't go along with the latest Right "take" on things.

It is a very dangerous time.

@Scribbles honestly, I don’t see any hope for these individuals, and was more thinking of death for them. However your comment did make me think it through, perhaps prison time could be tried on at least a few of them.
@BackyardShaman We can "other" them like the Nazis "othered" political prisoners, gypsies, Jews, etc., in order to exterminate them.

They are our fellow Americans, but they have joined a cult. They need rescuing and deprogramming.

The most successful people deprogram themselves, but I don't see this as terribly likely, given that

1) even catching Trump lying about

• having any classified materials (statement signed by his lawyer[s?] in June),

• that the government "could have just asked" for the materials (they did, more than once, it seems),

• that the material was already declassified (it seems that this is not true, but we'll have to see),

2) seeing

• nearly *30* boxes of materials leave Mar-a-Lago, and

• 11 sets of classified information found among those boxes,

• with some of the classified material in a classification *above* "Top Secret" (where it is only to be viewed in a special, very secure location under the complete control of the government)

seems to NOT mean ANYthing to people who are listening to "Republican" leaders call for tye end of the FBI, etc.

Yes, and it frustrates me to the point that I just want to execute them, but I know that’s not right. @SomeMichGuy
@BackyardShaman I get you. It's frustrating to show people all sorts of evidence and have them just reject it because it didn't come from their favorite rumor mill...
