@helenS This is what is possible when people only use one source of news (Fox) and that organisation acts as a propaganda arm for an amoral populist. They quite literally will believe anything that they are told. I'm not particularly fond of the term 'brainwashing' but that is basically what has been going on for the last six years , and what we see now is the result of that ceaseless conditioning.

As if they were just passive victims of some malevolent News sources. Listening to a channel like FOX (or similar channels, they exist in Europe as well) is an intentional decision of those people.
