Let's say the GOP/Sith party wins the House...

They promise a Mar-A-Lego investigation. What happens when they investigate and find out the FBI was actually pursuing something very serious? Do they then gaslight us and say it wasn't serious? Silently drop the investigation?

It's exactly [u]that[/u] what killed the ancient Roman republic after hundreds of years of stability, despite all the checks and balances the republic had established, and it may kill the American republic too. 😕

@helenS what destroyed the Roman Empire was debasement of the currency, huge numbers of the people on the “bread and circuses” dole and a huge influx of foreigners with no ties to Roman culture. At its height Roman silver found we 92% silver, at its fall they we’re 8% silver.

In 1964, LBJ replaced silver certificates with federal reserve notes and took the silver out of our coins. We have more people than ever on some sort of public assistance and the last three democrats have done nothing to control the southern border and millions of undocumented aliens have entered.

The similarities are way too close to ignore
