Foreign Policy

Trump
I said here's the problem with NATO: it's obsolete.
Trump, 2016.

The DOHA Agreement. A full surrender of U.S. military bases and weaponry, and release of thousands of prisoners, to the Taliban with terms and deadlines coordinated without the involvement of the Afghan government or military.

Biden
Nations have a right to sovereignty and territorial integrity.
Biden, 2022.

[Strengthened] the transatlantic alliance between the U.S. and Europe, recommitted the U.S. to the NATO alliance and collective security, and returned the U.S. to the Paris Climate Agreement.

Trump was a laughing stock to the world, until they saw him in action, and their laughter turned to horror. Biden has returned things to normal, leaving the rest of the world to say WTF happened that a country like the US could elect a Trump?

@SW-User By definition!
@SW-User When ALL of your longtime friends tell you that you're messed up and your new "friends" are the wrong crowd, you might want to listen.
@windinhishair EXACTLY.

It was mind-blowing to me that Biden got slammed by the fascist right for Trump's decision to pull troops from Afghanistan. He even extended the timeline of what Trump set. It just speaks to the entire, systematic brainwashing of way too many people. Disgusting and embarrassing.
When you look at what Biden has accomplished, particularly given the landscape, it's incredibly impressive. And it follows the historical playbook. The GOP blows shit up and fails and the Democrats come in and clean it up. Only to be hammered by idiots and then we rinse and repeat the cycle.
@Ynotisay True!

I think Republucans *know* that Democrats will straighten things out...so they feel *less* compelled to do what's right.

I believe we should keep up with our commitments. As well stay out of the countries against us at minimum. Sanctions being a good idea.

Seems to me neither did or have done both at the same time. Yes Biden has done better than Trump with our friends. That's a no brainer.

Yet when it comes to say the Arab nations both were and are playing around with fire.

Course I'm not big with diplomacy. To me it's all about being a hypocrite.

Good thing I'm not being forced to being in charge of anything! And would have to be forced.🤣
Former Trump advisor John Bolton has said that the reason Putin waited until march 2021 to start building up troops & materiel on the Ukraine border was that Putin was waiting for Trump to withdraw from NATO. After Trump's loss, Putin judged there was no more reason to wait.

P.S. Putin never believed the pillow guy's "reinstatement" claims.
@ElwoodBlues Yes, but did Putin get in on the anti-cancel-culture savings from MyPillow? 😉🤣🤣😅
