Did Nancy make a big mistake going to Taiwan? Should she have went? Why or why not?

The mistake would be if she comes back to the USA alive

The public doesn't know why she went. We can speculate it has something to do with semi-conductors...Taiwan being the world's producer and the Pelosi's are heavily invested. But to draw the ire of the CCP to the point of threatening an act of war? Other US dignitaries have gone to Taiwan...no problem. That includes a trip by Mike Pompeo back in March. But if Nancy goes, that crosses the line into WWIII.

What was her aim? I have no problem with her going but wasn't there a reason? China was foolish to use overheated rhetoric. I never thought they'd make themselves look worst than Biden, but here we are.

The world should have stood up when Russia invaded Ukraine… now we all knew this would happen.

The thing is the US has yet to officially reverse it's position on One China Policy. It seems as if the US has moved gradually away from the One China Policy first by testing the waters and now they may as well just go ahead and make it official since that seems to be the consensus amongst US representatives. I do think Nancy Pelosi made a bad choice. What will China do is the question? Chinese leadership isn't as sinister as the US and NATO and that's their main problem. China has to put it's big boy pants on and stand up; otherwise the US will continue to provoke them.
