Al Qaeda Leader Ayman al-Zawahiri Killed by US Drone Strike in Afghanistan

The AP and Politico are reporting that al Qaeda leader Ayman al-Zawahri was killed this weekend. al-Zawahiri was most likely the target of a U.S. drone stike in Kabul this past weekend.

Al-Zawahiri took over al Qaeda after Osama bin Laden was killed in Pakistan in a U.S. raid in 2011.

I expect Biden to announce a formal apology to Al Qaeda as soon as he finds Al's lost phone number.
