Non of the above

Would it not be amazing is Americans had this option on election ballots to make it so both parties Dems and Reps actually put candidates forward worth a damn😂🤣😂

That’s right Brewster Million Baby

Don't limit this to the US, many countries and I'll cite my own (the UK) as having unworthy candidates to represent the nation.

@GeniUs In the UK you do have that option, just spoil the ballot paper. See, for innstance, https://votingcounts.org.uk/spoilt-ballot

@ninalanyon That seems feckless as apart from being counted (and then dismissed) it doesn't achieve anything. If all spoilt or blank papers were counted and it represented a 'none of the above' vote and this meant new candidates had to be selected, I would go with that.

@GeniUs It's the only opportunity that UK voters have so they should use it. The numbers are counted and reported in the media.
we need young people to become politicians, but it's a stressful life so i understand why no one wants to do it

@lovelywarpedlemon This may be true for the US but most definitely not for the UK where for generations people have now been given it all as long as they have a child to support and many young people now expect it.

Do you voue in the US? There is always a write-in option. Feel free to write in anyone you believe is qualified.

Agreed. A true democracy would give us the 'None if the above option.
