Letter To The Editor Of The Los Angeles Times

To the editor:

I am a Vietnam-era veteran (an Army medic), and I was opposed to that war before and during my service. I was honorably discharged in 1969. I was proud then and am proud now of my actions.

One week ago, I was diagnosed with pancreatic cancer. I think I have between two and seven months to live.

Please help me retain my pride, my belief in our country, and my belief in the humanity and goodness of Americans and our elected officials by letting me see that the U.S. attorney general has charged Trump.

Gerald Stussman, Thousand Oaks

He's got more faith in the DOJ than most.

trump delivers voters to the Rs while the Ds clutch pearls and fund raise.
@Crazywaterspring Polling of (likely?) Republican voters, discussed on the PBS NewsHour tonight with a Republican strategist/poll source, revealed that only ~15% of Republicans want Trump to run again, in the wake of the 6 Jan. hearings.

Do they no longer call themselves Vietnam veterans but Vietnam-era veterans?

@ImperialAerosolKidFromEP They will always be Vietnam Vets.
@ImperialAerosolKidFromEP I've heard that term for years. It changes nothing, of course.
