If you want to continue to bake in a 120 degree heat wave each summer then continue to use gasoline. Soon you won’t be able to survive through another summer.

@MarmeeMarch They did but in far fewer places such as Death Valley and in the Sahara. They certainly never encompassed most of the continental US fir the duration of the summer and 80% of Europe for consecutive summers.

@Roundandroundwego Killing the ecosystem basically kills everything so all corners of the political spectrum would be fucked regardless.

@justanothername absolutely;. But there's no way out. Libs must be poned. Murka first.
You think the cons would let life continue? Nope.

@Roundandroundwego it won’t matter either way. The climate doesn’t care about people or politics. You fuck the climate the climate will bite back.

That's not accurate. There have been hot summers before and there will be more in the future.
What you are complaining about is WEATHER.
And climate has been changing ever since there's been climate. Tropical parts of the world have been frozen in the past and vice versa. Climate changes for any number of reasons, least of which is unproven man made causes. And throwing society back into the 1800's is not going to change anything other than choke the quality of life from everyone.
