Want to hear something funny. A Bill is before the NC Statehouse in Raleigh which looks to end the 'Free Ride' that EVs get while on NC Roads. Gasoline and Diesel fuel Vehicles currently pay a Gas Tax and EVs don't. What this bill does is that when any EV plugs in at any charger whether it's a Network like Tesla or not, they will automatically be paying an Infrastructure Use Tax. So before any charger does it's charging, a tax will be levied for every minute any EV is plugged in.
