This is why no one takes you seriously

...conservatives.

You shout and scream and cry and fight to preserve and protect the 1st Amendment, and then this is what you do with it:

Standing at the bottom of the Capitol steps, the man, whose identity is unclear, filmed the lawmaker [Alexandra Ocasio-Cortez] walking up the stairs. "See my favorite big booty Latina AOC!" he yelled in the video, repeatedly pointing at her. "I love you AOC — you're my favorite!"

"She wants to kill babies, but she's still beautiful," he continued. "You look very beautiful in that dress. You look very sexy. Look at that big booty on AOC — that’s my favorite big booty Latina."

Ocasio-Cortez then walked over to the man, suggested that he take a selfie with her and she threw up her fingers like a peace sign and walked away.

"Hot, hot, hot like a tamale!" the man yelled as she climbed the steps heading into the Capitol.

Stay classy, GOP.

My 2 cents worth: This guy and so many others of his ilk, and yes, they are mostly either conservatives or supportive of conservatives, have long treated and viewed women as mere chattel. To not rise up and decry this, the treatment of women as chattel, as human beings with no rights, sickens me.

What our nation now faces is a direct result of men for decades engaged (both dismissiley and/or with purpose), in not allowing equal rights for women. We are reaping what we sowed and it will take warriors like AOC to jerk a knot in the a$$e$ of our collective consciousness to ever have a chance of equal rights for women.

While I may not agree with all she does and supports, I am 100% behind her, indeed behind all women in this issue.

Argue and/or condemn my views, it is where I stand.

@Ontheroad We need people to be ice axes, to compell to act. I agree, I think this is how AOC functions now; she's in need of the wisdom and temperance of the years, but we will always need scouts, foot soldiers, battalion leaders.

I can't wait to see her in 20 years.

And yes, there is systematic and institutionalized bias against women and minorities; the other side spend so much time trying to debt it that they'll never take interest in ameliorating it.
