Yep, instead of having him involved in his capacity as a [b]doctor[/b], Trump will have him dealing with HUD and housing projects. And Carson's so stupid he's bragging about it.
“I grew up in the inner city and have spent a lot of time there, and have dealt with a lot of patients from that area and recognize that we cannot have a strong nation if we have weak inner cities,” he said Tuesday.
The 65-year-old has no previous policy experience in the field of urban development.
It would've made just as much sense for Trump to appoint one of his supporters who came up from the trailer park.

I agree he for sure should have been put in the medical secto. It doesn't make sense otherwise tbh , but this is the reality now . He is president because of people and their choices .
Wether trump is racist or not , the message he sent by nominating an African American at leasts somewhat shuts up some of his racist fans .its best to just stay positive this is the reality now .

@Pureblossom: I imagine his supporters will point to it as him [i]not[/i] being racist. But giving Carson what is basically the janitor's job shouldn't win Trump any points.

Once again i was just talking about the message being sent if you look at the positive aspect .I don't think Doctor Ben Carson Should accept the offer if he hasn't already declined I think it's beneath him or rather not his department .I think they probably did it so he wouldn't seem racist to those who think he is anyway .I'm just trying to be positive .

@Pureblossom: I understand, they probably do think so; but anyone looking at it realistically knows it indicates the opposite. Like Bush Sr replacing Thurgood Marshall with that joke Clarence Thomas and somehow thinking that because they're both black no one would notice any difference.
