Another stalwart Trump supporter deserts

In an op-ed this Wednesday, the Editorial Board for the Washington Examiner declared that the testimony Tuesday from former White House aide Cassidy Hutchinson "ought to ring the death knell for former President Donald Trump’s political career."

"In short, Hutchinson was a conservative Trumpist true believer and a tremendously credible one at that," the Board writes. "She did not overstate things, did not seem to be seeking attention, and was very precise about how and why she knew what she related and about which testimony was firsthand and which was secondhand but able to be corroborated."

A person suffering from a mental illness at the time of trial can be ruled unfit to stand trial, but being mentally ill is often not enough to convince a Judge. The individual must lack rationality 😳 and the capability of understanding the court process. If he throws plates at the wall in the court room, I think that will work 🤔

@softspokenman There's no trial here. And no one involved in this melee is insane by legal standards (there is no psychological standard for such).

Plates at a wall? That's anger and impetuous juvenile behavior, not insanity. But let's remember, plates on a wall and grabbing at wheels is the most salacious of the testimony, but it's also the least relevant.
@Graylight I agree, there is no trial here. I never mentioned the word 'insane', I did say 'mentally ill': from the everyday, run of the mill Neurotic, Grieving mother, Clinically Depressed and other types. None of them planned a Coup to undermine Democracy and the U.S. Constitution because they didn't get reelected. I'm not sure which category of 'mental illness' that is, but I don't have to be 'A Stable Genius' to know it when I see it, hear it speak, and see the behavior.

@softspokenman True, you did not mention insanity. Trump is a narcissist. Maybe a sociopath. He's unfit as a human and very mentally compromised, but he's not mentally unfit.

Don't mistake authentic mental health issues with being a greedy, undisciplined, lying a**hole. That's Trump's family tartan.
