The school shooting liberals won't talk about.

Brandon Keith Ned was a school shooter that was confronted by an armed teacher. A gunfight broke out. Ned ran, but the kids were already on lockdown. Cops showed up and capped his ass dead. Armed teachers, not gun free zones, are the answer.

You want to give the underpaid teachers guns but not a fair wage?
IronHamster · 56-60, M
@G00GLE What?! Teachers in Portland get $80k a year starting with benefits and full paid retirement. That's pretty lucrative for part time work. What do you think they are worth?
G00GLE · 26-30, M
@IronHamster the US is more than just Portland 🤔
IronHamster · 56-60, M
@G00GLE Ok. What do you think someone that works half the year in a nonhazardous environment is worth?
G00GLE · 26-30, M
@IronHamster "nonhazardous environment" why they need guns then? 🤔
Slade · 56-60, M
@G00GLE non sequitor much?
G00GLE · 26-30, M
@Slade sure whatever makes you happy
IronHamster · 56-60, M
@G00GLE As my article shows, armed teachers protect children. Unarmed teachers do not. Why do you want dead kids?
G00GLE · 26-30, M
@IronHamster so it's not a nonhazardous environment? Make up your mind
IronHamster · 56-60, M
@G00GLE Obviously you miss the nuance. The argument you make is that you want kids to die in a hazardous environment surrounded by inept targets.
G00GLE · 26-30, M
@IronHamster yeah so you agree it's a hazardous environment, after you said the opposite 🤔
And the argument i made is "instead of fair pay you wanna give teachers guns"
IronHamster · 56-60, M
@G00GLE How about this. Teachers that qualify and carry get their base pay for their retirement. Teachers that have mental issues and felonies have to go work as unarmed guards because they should never be near kids to begin with.
G00GLE · 26-30, M
@IronHamster and people that don't wanna carry guns around kids? I assume in your delusion of the world those fall under "mental issues"
IronHamster · 56-60, M
@G00GLE They have the mental disorder of hoplophobia. They should go find work protecting politicians.
IronHamster · 56-60, M
@G00GLE If teachers want to be treated like professionals are, they need to step up their game. I have multiple state CCP licenses, and have for over a decade. Leftists here try to label me as stupid, so they must be saying that teachers have slipped through the cracks and are even more stupid, so, if they are even more stupid because they cannot get a license to carry, why are they allowed near children at all?
Roadsterrider · 56-60, M
@G00GLE Yes, the US is more than Portland. The median salary for teachers is $63K, the top 25% make $81K and the bottom 25% make $50K for 180 days a year, full benefits and retirement. Even the bottom 25% would be making $100K a year if they worked a full year instead of 6 months a year. That isn't too bad in my opinion.
Paladin · 56-60, M
@IronHamster Which isn't much, considering the cost of housing in Portland.
G00GLE · 26-30, M
@Roadsterrider do you really think teachers sit on their hands half a year? Are you both actually this dense?
Roadsterrider · 56-60, M
@G00GLE Check a calendar and count how many days kids go to school. Most places it is about 180 days a year. A couple weeks off for winter holidays and spring break, 3 months off in the summer. Teachers have a great gig when it comes to work time and benefits. Would you like to have a vacation from June through August, every holiday off, winter break, summer break, and performance not based on how many kids actually learn anything? There are teachers that are worth their weight in gold but the majority of them that I have encountered are there for the paycheck. If teachers want to make more money, they need to step up their game.
G00GLE · 26-30, M
@Roadsterrider it's cute that you think just because the kids have holidays it applies to the teacher too.
Roadsterrider · 56-60, M
@G00GLE My next door neighbor is a teacher, when her child is not in school for a holiday, she is home with him.
G00GLE · 26-30, M
@Roadsterrider i have been at home working for most of 2021 🤔
