When they bend statistics to pretend they do other things more than they do the things they advertise is their main focus.

Let me explain what I mean by statistical bending.

Let's say a veterinarian specializes in euthanizing, then turning cats into cat puree sold to a dog food firm. Obviously doesn't want his cat killing work so obviously named "Make your Cat dead and feed it to dogs.

Instead of that names the cat butchering assembly line Seasons of the life of Cats, and creates a division of the company for cat counseling and preventive geriatric conditioning, which all customers must sign up for when consulting as a potential user of the service.

This includes "education and reassurance" to the cat owner that said owner is doing the world a great service, and subsequent "after care" items, enclosures, directions and questionnaires that the now customer must read and sign and return to the company for "assessments and assistance."

Each person that speaks to the customer has a nice sounding job title having no indication of the actual point of the business but really sounds actually like a cat life preserving operation. Likewise each sheet of paper handed to the customer is treated as a different function of the operational point of the business. Carefully, the ratio of these items are recorded as work in a different area than the main business, and the butchering work is then portrayed as a minor occasional occurrence at the company.

Voilla. Now it appears as though Seasons of the lives of Cats lokks less like a seasoned cat meat dog food maker and more like a cat friendly helper of cats.

That's what I call bending statistics.

And this is the kind of illusion you're helping to sell.

@SteelHands So if you read carefully, I wrote on things the way they really are and you'll have sufficient threads to do a deeper search into the subject than the film flam PR word salad that our elite "intellectual" trustfunder purchased racist, class caste, hate generating propaganda leads many to believe.

In closing I'll tell you something of myself. I was raised in a multiethnic neighborhood and hoped somewhat as a youth to be one of the wealthy elite. I studied many writings as a child from aesop and Aristotle to Woolman Penn and Whitman. Don't judge me and I don't judge you without sight *on* scene to know. By the time I was 20 I was rejected by many in my own ethnic and racial line for not being judgemental enough. I remained a minority in my own neighborhood for many years and eventually found someone I thought held similar beliefs to my own. As time went on things changed. The many friends of color I had made where I was moved into nicer areas with more opportunity for them. While more people of my own ilk began flying back in and balancing out the neighborhood. Then things took a nasty turn. The new complaints began. White people were being treated badly by the young people of color. My son's and daughters were routinely abused. Accused of "gentrifying" areas that needed cleaning up, as rents began climbing to cover costs, we were driven away. Caught between long standing residents of hateful people both in the urban areas and the relatively sparsely ethnicised suburbs. While being accused and abused by a now majority black city attorney's office and police force and told as much as "i don't belong here" I was forced to move into an unwelcoming suburb.

Life's not been kind to me. My wife finally found it easiest to just divorce me and at least my kids, now in their middle age, as long as they keep a distance from me and display enough dislike towards me they aren't pestered so much. Least ways not as much as I had been when I first got here 10 years ago. Ours had been a different journey.

But I know how it feels to be at the point of a police shotgun, and dragged away in hand cuffs after committing no offense. I know what it's like to have my home swarmed with a group of cops for a weak excuse of a "anonymous report." I know what it's like to have my car surrounded by cops and a drug sniffing dog when I don't even , haven't smoked weed since the 1970s. I also know what it's like to report a man i witnessed doing actual domestic abuse and be called a white racist liar fot it by the cop.
I know what it's like trying to save a drug addicts life and pacing circles in the yard carrying him. Only to have the police arrive and tell me I should just let him die. I know what it's like to have the narc dealer set his thugs on me and accuse me of threatening him with a gun as his excuse for his assault on me and being charged as an insult to add to the physical injuries I recieved.

And that's not even there tip of an iceberg of history I've lived to show you I'm no poser. I could also point out a few more items to allow you to see I'm no sexist either. Though it's no use to point out the fact I've had to surrender employment because I'm not going to watch others predate, homeo or not, while I'm falsely accused of it by people with special privilege are using it to their advantage.

So please bypass me with your fake virtue I've seen far far far more than my share of bs in my almost 70 years on this loveless rock called a planet.

Also I always keep it in mind that as I read most replies to comments on everything that spurs my interest even if I don't comment myself on any given post I peruse.

Because..well... reading is rather effortless to me. Although I don't have a fake college education. I got mine from reading hundreds of books and 2.75 in late library book fees before they took all of them over with federal funding so they could sanitize the history sections of the library.

But I do get a kick out of the reaction I get from borderline illiterates and other really dumb people who think they're smart.
