@MistyCee maybe it's not related to the anti communism campaign of the same yesrs, but the US entered the Viet Nam war to fight communism. Stretch from the war on communism All the way to the war against communism if you can make any connections at all.

I'm not going to touch the lies against leftists bit, but Korea, Viet Nam, and the McCarthy hearings were "related" as were a whole lot of other things prior to the fall of the Soviet Union.
