Its basic transit geographic is a last century response to a military strike from the communist russkies. Its designed latiduially bc of location accesses.
PicturesOfABetterTomorrow · 41-45, M
@checkoutanytime Wow. You have really lost the plot. You practically sound like a scientologist with all that nonsens babble.
checkoutanytime · 46-50, M
@PicturesOfABetterTomorrow its factual. Please, stop harassing me with things you obviously know nothing about, please.
PicturesOfABetterTomorrow · 41-45, M
@checkoutanytime It doesn't even make sense grammatically. Nothing factual about it. Seems like you finally lost it completely.
checkoutanytime · 46-50, M
@PicturesOfABetterTomorrow read up on the Eisenhower interstate system, if you are really that passionate about knowing. Im not joking, with you buddy.
PicturesOfABetterTomorrow · 41-45, M
@checkoutanytime Interesting bit of history but irrelevant. Inter states have fuck all to do with mass public transportation.
That happened long after Standard Oil effectively destroyed mass public transit in the US. Like 20 years after the fact.

@PicturesOfABetterTomorrow mass transit i guess works in compacted urban areas? But is unrealistic for mass transit, and is a laughable debate, irl.
PicturesOfABetterTomorrow · 41-45, M
@checkoutanytime You are making random statements with nothing to back it up and making zero sense. Literally every other first and some 2nd world countries have figured this out. The US refuses to because "free dumbs and road trips."
Propaganda spread after Standard Oil destroyed public transportation in the US are just urban legends declared true because stuff and reasons. Even though entire continents have proven it to be bullshit.

@PicturesOfABetterTomorrow Sorry, this topic isn't a thing, so im not even intrested in going in to detail about it.
PicturesOfABetterTomorrow · 41-45, M
@checkoutanytime Dude. That is literally the entire point of this post. You are the one insisting on going off on random tangents about highways and other nonsense irrelevant to the discussion.
And then you refuse to even back your non sequiturs with even basic info about what you are babbling on about.

@PicturesOfABetterTomorrow and i provided the reason, why its a mute, unsustainable thought, that isnt going to matter outside of dense urban areas.
PicturesOfABetterTomorrow · 41-45, M
@checkoutanytime No, you did not. You made a cryptic statement about something completely irrelevant to the topic,
And again you double down with a sweeping statement with zero evidence to back it up.

@PicturesOfABetterTomorrow dude, geography, and reality aren't helping your tantrum
PicturesOfABetterTomorrow · 41-45, M
@checkoutanytime Lol. Reality doesn't support your claims. This has already been done in places with similar geography, with even larger populations. But facts don't matter apparently. You are basing your claims on feelings, not facts.
PicturesOfABetterTomorrow · 41-45, M
@checkoutanytime In fact the exact same geography was not an issue in the 1800s. But magically it is an issue now.
checkoutanytime · 46-50, M
@PicturesOfABetterTomorrow in my region, 12% live in an urban area. Your argument sounds appalling to be perfectly honest.
PicturesOfABetterTomorrow · 41-45, M
@checkoutanytime I am sorry facts don't care about your feelings. I guess the railway system never happened because feelings.
checkoutanytime · 46-50, M
@PicturesOfABetterTomorrow your off your rocker, enjoy the toys in your attack. I cant believe how much a a supiorer/bigot you wish to make of yourself, but your position is ignorant.
PicturesOfABetterTomorrow · 41-45, M
@checkoutanytime And now you throw insults when I prove your point to be nonsense. Figures.
Both in the US and Canada the railway and electrical grid were infrastructure projects on the same scale, with technology 200 years old at this point with populations a small fraction of what they are now.
Literally the only thing preventing this is willpower and motivation.

@PicturesOfABetterTomorrow i want to be nice to you, but now im done with you. Your perspective is deranged of how people live, and how things actually work. ✌️👋
Roundandroundwego · 61-69
@checkoutanytime people have noticed you can roll tanks across it-. Do you think that explains why people left it that way?
checkoutanytime · 46-50, M
@Roundandroundwego no. If people want to improve life quality for "ALL", we need better routes. Only a few people can afford to work from home, the rest of Us spend a large portion of time traveling, in order to provide and live our best lifes.
