Z means ZERO at least for the shit show the Russians military have shown so far lol

SW-User
@Justenjoyit How about the shitshow of social media?
Justenjoyit · 61-69, M
@SW-User The Russians have always been a big bluff and shit show even when I was in the military observing them

SW-User
@Justenjoyit Maybe I'm from a time and from a country, I always thought the cold war self serving for both the US and Russia? I wouldn't even know what one was fighting for then, other than their respective economical ends?
Justenjoyit · 61-69, M
@SW-User Lets dont get into the politics of it all. Z stands for ZERO inept Russian military.

SW-User
@Justenjoyit I'm fine with that. History has a way of repeating itself, they say it's often in twenty year trends.. I wonder if the culture writers and political writers should have a little discussion together?

@Justenjoyit 20% of Ukraine is not Zero 😁

If you compare the current war in Ukraine with the Finnish Winter War, you will find very similar patterns. The Finns defended their country bravely, and Soviet soldiers died like mosquitoes. Russians died and died and died – until the Finnish resistance was exhausted, and run out of ammo, so the USSR won the war. To the Soviet/Russian leaders it's not important if 10,000 or 100,000 or maybe 10,000,000 soldiers die. During WWII their strategy and tactics was so horrible that millions (!!) of Soviet soldiers died in German concentration camps as prisoners of war, but so what? They won the war anyway.
It is important for everyone in the West to see that this is not a normal war, and the Russian military forces are not an honest army.

How is it a shit show? Their "soldiers" do what they always did, and they always did it successfully. They kill and torture und murder and rape – until they die themselves. When the first wave of Russian "soldiers" is dead, the next wave will flood the fields. And the next, and the next, as many as they need, until all resistance is suffocated. @helenS thank you, context matters.

@doong On military thinking the Russian military is inept and is failing as a result.

@helenS I hope your wrong

@Justenjoyit This is not a normal war. The Russian army is not an honest army. From the point of view of the Russian leaders they do not fail at all.

SW-User
@Justenjoyit How? I think Putin does know what he is doing and he's not caring how many of citizens die for serving his purpose? I expect he finds gratification within people dying for him and he can last longer than the Ukraine in fight with weapons and in army. It's not a laughing matter.
helenS · 36-40, F
@antonioioio Not if America is serious about NATO.
helenS · 36-40, F
@SW-User

Exactly. To the Russian leaders, people (even their own) are just biomass, and biomass comes and goes. There is more than enough poverty in Russia, so replacement of dead Russian biomass is warranted.
antonioioio · 70-79, M
@helenS they should be
Because Americka is made up of people who fled dictatorships like the modern day rulers of Russia and the rest of Europe need to wake up to what the Russian aim is

@helenS And some of it is sheer number. I honestly wished when I heard of this conflict to begin with it was Russia and the US needing a new cold war together. They had years of economic gain together from that. But geopolitics have changed since then, and if you look upon the last two years economically, Russia knows in strategy what it's doing. They are hitting when the world is down and re-establishing its once "dynasty". The latter part, I think Putin overestimates, but is smart in tactic and he's essentially saying, stop me while I know you are hurt.

@SW-User I’m hopeful that before long that loyalties having been afforded him (Putin) during his disastrous time as President and prime minister and a stolen Presidential election and then his change of constitutional policy on his ability to remain in power until the mid 2035-2036 will continue to get weaker.
Leaks showing diminishing confidence in his mental health status from many in the Duma and weariness of this being his fifth war or conflicts during his tenure will hopefully find a way to quell the madness this madman is putting the entire world in before much longer.
Significant money, equipment and training is really just now occurring for the Ukrainians while sanctions continue to punish the Russian people. Sanity in an increasingly insane situation is forthcoming but how much longer can Ukrainians hold on before a regime change in Russia or an all out world war breaks out.
I’m hopeful that he gets a dose of polonium-210 sometime soon.

@gdon39 I doubt he lives this long. Upon world war, and I know it is sad in a way, I think the west is accepting collateral damage, letting if it needs to be this way, they will let Ukraine be lost. Sometimes it is the larger picture, and really he has little time from what I gather to harm people. It's sad who he is.
