Why hasn't Merrick Garland charged Trump with insurrection yet?

Is he hoping Trump will run again, so the Dems don't have to do anything to win?

Why hasn't Biden been charged with treason? That's the question. Trump did one heck of a good job and I would stand by him any day over Biden or that no good, evil Obama.
