The hearing is presenting the evidence of it’s investigation. The evidence can be used to press charges afterwards. They’re going by the book.

@softspokenman It is very clever of the committee to put the evidence on show in the way they have. Not just the dry findings and statements. But actually showing all the former Trump flunkies, including family, saying in their own words that Trump was told repeatedly and just kept right on going like he had his fingers in his ears.. Its hard for even Fox to defend this stuff.😷

@whowasthatmaskedman Except they don't show the advisors and family members that agreed that the election was stolen which is what happens when only one side is presented.

@eli1601 If Trumps defense has that information then it can be presented at a 'trial'.

It is if Trump decided to take illegal actions, that’s the next step. If Trump knew that he lost, but not only refuse to accept it. But broke the law with the knowledge and intent.

@eli1601 Testimony taken and sworn to under oath to be truthful is considered evidence, for both sides.
