What does Trump's endorsement of Herschel Walker mean?

First, Walker's black, so if you think Trump's problem is primarily that he's a racist, he's trying to put that myth to bed.

Second, Walker is obviously more loyal and sympathetic to Trump's professed politics than Warnock, so maybe he's just picking a loyalist who can win.

Or, there's the fact that Walker lies, routinely, all the f-ing time, and that's the kind of guys who support Trump.

Trump endorsing a self-loathing, ignorant token doesn’t help him except as a talking point with the folks who already support him. That point should’ve been made clear with Ben Carson and the late Herman Cain.
@bijouxbroussard But it wasn't, because WASPS don't have a monopoly on stupidity sociopathy or greed. I just saw two more black Trumpists running for office.

I get the fact that minorities are easy targets for Trumpism, but at the end of the day, I think that's all they are.
@MistyCee Of course, some allow themselves to be used as trophies by the right, but most black voters see who have been attempting to interfere with the Voters’ Rights Act in order to suppress voters of color.
@bijouxbroussard I hope so.
@MistyCee Even with Donald Trump claiming to do so much for minorities (provably lies), it netted him 12% of the black vote in 2020. George W. Bush got a higher percentage (13% in 2004).
