What does Trump's endorsement of Herschel Walker mean?

First, Walker's black, so if you think Trump's problem is primarily that he's a racist, he's trying to put that myth to bed.

Second, Walker is obviously more loyal and sympathetic to Trump's professed politics than Warnock, so maybe he's just picking a loyalist who can win.

Or, there's the fact that Walker lies, routinely, all the f-ing time, and that's the kind of guys who support Trump.

It means trump wants to endorse the intellectuals of society. Herschel is a really smart guy... Lol

@deadgerbil Just because one evolved from the other doesn’t mean that the other died out which is what you are trying to suggest. It also shows you have no understanding of the evolutionary process.

@justanothername Not sure if the poster was arguing anything. He shared a comment that was beyond ridiculous that came out of that man's mouth. And it really did.

@Ynotisay You can’t be considered an intellectual if you don’t understand the concept of evolution.

Living beings can evolve and diversify to enable them to suite their surrounding environment.

@Ynotisay you got it right. My sarcasm wasn't picked up and appreciated by all, it seems lol
@justanothername He knows. It was sarcasm. 🤭

@justanothername OK. But you're arguing a point that doesn't exist in the context of that post.
@deadgerbil Not many people know that Walker is an ordained rabbi.

@deadgerbil And Herschel is evidence that this concept is true, he's about as close to an ape as one can get and most apes are probably smarter than he is, this guy is a moron 😖
@spjennifer Tread carefully, calling the man an "ape".
He’s a misguided fool, but still a person. Just saying.
spjennifer · 61-69, T
@bijouxbroussard Sorry but I've seen smarter chimpanzees than him, note that I did say "as close to an ape as one can get". Yes, he's definitely misguided but he's also intentionally lying to get himself elected. Please don't mistake my comment as racist by comparing him to an ape, I was meaning strictly in terms of his intelligence and I would say the same thing about him if he was White or Asian, the man is a moron.
@bijouxbroussard I totally get the ape/racial thing, but I think Walker knows what he's doing with this crap, and I'm not buying lack of intelligence or race, or as an excuse for dishonesty.

I get that he's black, but I don't think that's an excuse for lying or embracing lies by others.

It's not personal with me. He was a great athlete, and, maybe, like other athletes, he's a victim of his talent, and the society that misled him, but this SOB, imo, does not belong in public office, and should not be trusted with the responsibility.

Frankly, when you look at Walker, he saw big bucks with Trump and the USFL early on, and maybe its excusable or even noble that he'd go for it with the USFL, but he's not a kid anymore, and his lies, immorality, and Trump support are pretty fucking despicable.

Yes, he's a "person," but has he earned that title?
@MistyCee You do get that my comment doesn’t mean that I support walker in any way, right ? Like most Trump supporters, he’s looking for what he can get out of the man. If he has a brain at all he knows it’s a deal with the devil, so to speak. Walker has no integrity or self-respect, or he wouldn’t be MAGA-GOP. Whatever grain of intelligence he might possess has been obscured by all the stupid things he’s been saying. And like with other GOP, hypocrisy is proving to be his native language, considering his stand on "absentee fathers"—while apparently being one himself.
@bijouxbroussard I do get that you don't support Walker.

In fact more than anyone else on SW, I tend to agree with what you express, but at the same time, I'm enough of a contrarian to not be just a bobble head.

My own opinion is that folks like Walker, Ben Carson, and Candace Owens are pretty much "ahead of the curve" in terms of being able to exploit their ethnicity and thus deflect from the immorality and inhumanity espoused by their "masters."

PS: I threw that last quote stuff mostly out of sheer perversity and a desire for drama , but I don't think that its irrelevant .
@deadgerbil This guy really is brain damaged.
