No video cameras allowed

During the Presidents latest appearance, only still cameras. Why do you think that is and how do they enforce it?

Few people shoot film at press meetings.
Most digital cameras have a video mode.

When was this announced?
@SW-User A white house correspondent said it.

For the 2nd time this week, the WH will only allow still cameras into a Biden event - no video. Tonight, only stills for a spray of the Biden/Kimmel taping. Earlier this week, only stills were brought to the South Lawn for his mtg with Sen Murphy - TV was told about it afterward.

@FreeSpirit1 that language is from a fox reporter tweet.
@SW-User yes it is . She's the white house correspondent for Fox
SW-User
@FreeSpirit1 did you watch the Kimmel interview?
@SW-User no
SW-User
@FreeSpirit1 ok..so you will rely on an interpreter.
@SW-User everyone can watch the taped interview, they didn't want video of the unedited interview.

My understanding is that kimmel’s show records for broadcast just ahead of air time. If you are feeding into the idea that Joe is pre dementia…you will have to do better than that.

Trump didn’t look any better. The nation needs to forget anyone over 60 for the office..
I am 57 and fumble with words most days..@FreeSpirit1
@SW-User I don't know if he has dementia or not but I do know his staff tries to protect him from unscripted interviews and live events, the President has even said, " I can only take a few question or I'm going to get in trouble" That's not normal.
SW-User
@FreeSpirit1 he has always gone off script and wandered into a blunder.

Have you heard of thighland or covfefe..

The last two presidents don’t represent coherence..
