Really hard to overstate the incompetence of the police in the Uvalde shooting
as more and more information about the events roll out it only makes me more disgusted.
According to DPS Director Steve McGraw who said twice that the cops were the ones who barricaded the shooter into a classroom. In addition to it coming out that the cops rushed into the school to save THEIR OWN kids.
Its hard not to interpret this as the "police barricaded the shooter in a classroom full of kids so they would have time to rescue their own kids"

you don't know what happened so those thoughts are premature but we do know that when the shooter entered the school through an unlocked door he entered an unlocked classroom and locked the door behind him, something school staff should have done in the first place to keep him from having easy access to the kids.
