Should the ownership of guns be banned or restricted?

@SquirrelGirl Because driving a car is not protected under the constitution. And why would you need a license to buy a gun when its a protected right. And just exactly would the license do? Does your driver's license keep you from driving your car through a crowded sidewalk? Why not? Criminals are going to do criminal things. As long as people focus on and demonize the instrument and not the perpetrator the mental health issue is not going to be resolved which is exactly what democrats want...the issue , not its resolution. Think about that.
