You must obtain a license to buy a gun. To be licensed, you must be a permanent resident or Israeli citizen, 22-years-old and speak Hebrew.

Notwithstanding the fact that most Israeli citizens have done mandatory military service and are very well trained in the use of firearms, they don't have the same insane gun fetish culture that we have. The only people they want to kill are Palestinians and Arabs 😖
