Republican's Playbook

Of course, 192 Republicans voted AGAINST getting more baby formula.

Right now the Republicans in office know that their constituents blame Joe Biden for just about everything. Gas, inflation, baby formula shortage… And because they put Party over Country, they want that to continue.

They don’t care what actual harm and pain it causes the American people, just as long as the result is more people being mad at Democrats and Joe Biden. They’re not interested in actually solving problems. In fact, can you think of one time when a Republican introduced any legislation that would improve your life?

The same thing happened last Thursday with gas. There was a piece of legislation introduced in the house to stop price gouging at the pump as a way to lower the cost of fuel. Not one Republican voted for it. Because again, why would they want to overturn the apple cart of misplaced blame?

If you’re not in the top 1%, the only thing that Republicans can offer you is self-righteous anger. So in order to keep that going, they will either make existing problems worse in order to make everyone mad at Biden and the Democrats. Or they’ll just make up problems entirely like CRT, Don’t Say Gay bill…

Cue the Fox talking points:
Read the bill, Libtard! (I did)
It does nothing for purchasing baby formula (It's a plan that will end the shortage quickly. You have to start somewhere.)
Did you read where the 28M goes (yes. and?)

The Republicans really are in lockstep, arent they?

What you have stated here is about 55% true. The Fox arguments are also out of place. What was voted against is government involvement at the gas pump and placing products on shelves. The government should not be involved in any of this as it sets a dangerous precedent that the government can step in and dictate prices, overstep state laws, and control the distribution of goods. So many people are hung up on what is happening at the federal level, but the solutions to these problems will all be solved or made worse at the local level. The legislative branch of the government essentially lays a baseline that will be disseminated down throughout various state legislatures. So they must be very careful not to set a precedent that gives the federal government too much power over individual states.

But what about the precious babies that they want to protect?

@Quetzalcoatlus Hypocrites
@Quetzalcoatlus Those babies are already born, so they don’t GAF

That’s NOT what the vote you refer to was about. You’re spreading disinformation.

@jackjjackson

JFC!! Breathe, you f*cking choad. I'd hate to be responsible for your passing out. 🤣 Believe whatever you want. You're in a cult. Let me guess, you believe JFK has risen from the dead? HAHAHA!!! You people are so far gone- completely untethered to reality. There's always a conspiracy theory to recoil into. Or a blatant lie. The Republican Party leadership and right-wing media conspire together to gaslight you gullible dimwits for power. And yes, you absolutely report people on SW with your alternate accounts. Get a life.
