See the thing is in principle I do think that a Better Dem might show up than Wyden but I still wouldn't vote for them simply because I've become too knowledgable about how the institution actually operates.

Wyden is already Senate Finance Chairman, Committee assignments are given on the basis of Seniority and right now Oregon is a KEY vote in the senate, we are relevant on that basis alone.
