Texas Failed To Fix Their Power Grid After Their Massive Failure Several Winters Ago--Six Power Plants Went Offline Yesterday In The Heat Wave

After all, Governor Abbott doesn't want to tell electrical generators that they must spend money to prevent massive failures that kill people. The Electric Reliability Council of Texas (ERCOT) has asked residents to raise thermostats to 78 degrees Fahrenheit or higher between 3pm and 8pm on Saturday and Sunday and avoid using larger appliances.

@ronisme1 Yes it will be. Some areas may see more than 100 degree highs for months.
@windinhishair Good way to get rid of poor people I guess. Heat Stroke. Rich people can afford air conditioners in their houses, cars, restaurants, etc.

@Pitchblue If significant parts of the power grid go down, even the rich won't have power from the grid and will have to rely on generators.
