Could've used those math textbooks

1. Should Roe v. Wade be overturned this summer, 13 states are set up with "trigger laws" that will outlaw abortion at the state level immediately. At least another 10 will have similar or same on the books shortly after.

2. Today, a 59% majority of U.S. adults say abortion should be legal in all or most cases, while 39% think abortion should be illegal in all or most cases (Pew Research Center survey, conducted April 5 to 11).

3. Written in 1787, ratified in 1788, and in operation since 1789, the United States Constitution is the world’s longest surviving written charter of government. Its first three words – “We The People” – affirm that the government of the United States exists to serve its citizens. The supremacy of the people through their elected representatives is recognized in Article I, which creates a Congress consisting of a Senate and a House of Representatives (United States Senate).

1+1+1 isn't equaling 3 and until it does, we live in a nation that controls us. If you don't like the idea of your elected state representatives assuming they can read your mind, text/write/call/contact their office and remind them about the "serve" part.

Much like prohibition of alcohol back in the day, the outlawing of abortion will create more problems than it’s supposed to be “ solving”

I’m a parent who lives in a country with probably the highest teenage pregnancy rate in the developed world. Abortion is also legal in our country but, as you can probably guess with a very high rate of teen mums going full term, not every girl or woman who is pregnant I under difficult living conditions will choose to abort their child just because they are not in a stable relationship. Most keep their child. Some abort.

ALL women should have the right to choose. It’s a difficult and horrible decision emotionally but it’s still a choice.

@justanothername I understand that you support abortion. In most states abortion is legal up to 24 weeks ( 6 months).
With current advances in medical care its becoming more common for babies born at 22 weeks to survive and go on to live normal lives. How do you reconcile this?
At what point in development is an unborn baby ( fetus) a human?
Thats the question that everyone disagrees on.

@REMsleep I support every womens right to choose as long as it is medically safe to have an abortion. It is an extremely difficult choice for any woman to make.
Abortion has always been legal where I live but just because it is a possible option doesn’t mean test women choose it “just because”.
That is a point that seems to be overlooked in the US.
dakotaviper · 56-60, M
@justanothername it's overlooked here in the USA because some use abortion for birth control.
Graylight · 51-55, F
@dakotaviper Who? Tell us the story of a woman, with her name, location and details, who used abortion as birth control.

Oh, I had a flat tire the other day. Think I'll replace the transmission...
dakotaviper · 56-60, M
@Graylight why so you can ridicule them.
Graylight · 51-55, F
@dakotaviper No, because if you can find a single example, you win the game today. Your contention, your proof. Run along, then.

@Graylight my first ex-wife had three because they would impose on her stripping career. Which was before I got involved with her back in 1995. She started her Porn career after she became my ex. That's why I'm not going to name her. She's had pictorials in Hustler, Gallery, Club, Juggs, Busty Beauties, and many more. I do know that the third one caused problem since she had to have a hysterctomy afterwards.

@Graylight Hi I am just a normal woman I do work in healthcare but I don't think that's relevant in this case. I have known several women that I know for a fact did use abortion as a form of birth control. I will share one case here.
I used to work with a woman that was very rough around the edges.
We worked at a day care center when I was only 17.
When I met her she was roughly 3 months pregnant. She already had 2 kids.
She kept saying stuff like "dang I don't even know if I want this baby." And she would laugh and say that she was gonna get rid of the effing baby before before her boyfriend found out.
In my state they make you listen to the heartbeat before the abortion.
After telling us back and forth for a few weeks she finally did it.
She kept saying how her old man was gonna be mad but that she better do it before she got real big.
She was laughing telling me how the Dr. Forced her to listen to the hearbeat and she said that her boyfriend was mad when she told him afterwards because it was her 5th abortion.
She was telling the story like it was a game, mimicking the sound of the heartbeat to me.
True story
I have others.
Graylight · 51-55, F
@REMsleep Thank you for the story. I much prefer a first-hand account with accountable details like name and location or date.

Still, this has been more thinking exercise for DakotaViper and we are off topic. It matters little why somebody terminates the pregnancy. It's her choice and her choice alone.
dakotaviper · 56-60, M
@Graylight So you're now calling me out. How quaint. Oh by the way, she didn't say a name, place, or date either. But then again if it doesn't fit your agenda of misinformation, then it didn't happen I suppose.
Graylight · 51-55, F
@dakotaviper Mentioning your name isn't calling you out, you drama queen.

Please quote a piece of misinformation I've posted.
dakotaviper · 56-60, M
@Graylight Well you want name, location, and date, which means you want to harass the person (s) that did do it for birth control. Drama Queen I'm not. But I am a threat to you since I practice Free Thought every day.

@dakotaviper With all that practice, I'd have expected you to get it right occasionally
