There's no intelligence qualification in the Constitution to serve in Congress.

@beckyromero No, but there is a requirement that Congress members not engage in treason or insurrection.

What's interesting about this is since MTG isn't on trial for a crime, there's no presumption of innocence. She has to prove that she [i]didn't[/i] engage in insurrection. There is no right to serve in Congress and if she broke the rules, she can be disqualified. And "not recalling" anything isn't a good defense.
