@CactusJackManson Yes, she was democratically elected and then took an oath to uphold the constitution. She wasn't democratically elected to undermine the democratic process and incite people to overthrow the democratic process in favor of a candidate that lost the election.

@BohemianBoo There was no crime committed, except by the Democrats. In 1980 (?!), 2000, 2004, and 2016, Democrats used parliamentary procedure to challenge the election results. When it comes to Marjories track record, she can be found in numberous places on the internet talking about how the democrats stole the election without proof. How "the people" don't need to take this election fraud, without proof. And telling the poppulation that [i]"[...] can't allow it to transfer power peacefully like Joe Biden wants because he did not win this election. [...]"[/i]. Also she called it "our 1776 moment". I mean, you can look all of this up and it was used in the hearing today.

Also, when did the democratic party contest an election... keeps contesting it after all the courtcases are lost. Keeps contesting it till the day that the vote needs to be recognised in congress. Keeps fighting it for almost years after the inauguration... all without having any evidence that stands up in court? I mean, It's really clear that you love to revel in false equivalences, but it's a little bit ridiculous in this case. But the reason why this contestation keeps going on, is because you need to keep the people angry. It doesn't really matter what really happens, you just need to create and maintain the perception in a segment of the poppulation that lost all capability of critical thinking becasue they are just pissed off all the time and listen to snake oil sellers. Because what they believe isn't really important as long as those that serve the venom can stay in positions of power and make sure they don't have to pay taxes. You need to keep the herd together and you don't do that by saying you were wrong.

Well, the protests were largely peaceful. You don't really need Don Lemon for that. The ACLED report is way more intresting to read:

It's also the peacefull stuff that got supported. You won't find a lot of democrats proclaiming that this was their 1776 moment. Or that we need to remove a tyrant. I mean, you being the grown up and all that, I expect more from you. You look pretty pathetic so far from down here.
