Are you confused?

Over the terms "respect" and "acknowledge"
This seems to be a new thing, that we have to respect and acknowledge a persons opinions.
People want to believe that they are the same thing. But they aren't.
You can acknowledge someone's opinion and still laugh at it. You are not under obligation to respect it.
