Republicans always suffer from a loss of memory. I am sure you forgot that gas price drop just before a good President came in. Alzheimer’s disease is pretty common with republicans. Reagan suffered from it while in office.

Obama was intelligent. Saudis didn’t own him and hence the drop in fuel.
I remember it closing on $6 per gallon and within two months the greedy cowards lowered it to $1.30 before he took the Presidency.
The price of gas was decent when trump took office and even went up a little the first year. After trump totally screwed up the handling of Covid , the economy took a total dive and no one was driving to work hence the drop of the fuel price. It wasn’t a good thing.

@Aliveshock You are making claims that Obama was somehow tough on the Saudis but aren't showing how. Again, the Presidential office doesn't control the economy ans gas prices. I'd love to see evidence where they do.

By the way, the two years prior to Biden taking office, America was a net energy exporter. Reversing the federal government's position on permits and leases turned America into a net energy importer again as production fell. Biden did that on Day 1 in office by doing a 180 on Trump's executive orders to the relevant federal agencies.
