"Don't Say Gay" has ramifications

Central Florida (Orlando especially), The community that was once praised as a model of citizens coming together after the crisis of the Pulse shootings, can no longer tell the victims' stories in school. The city that once banded together is overseen by a governor who seeks to tear it apart so he can shame an entire community for votes.

How do we prevent future violence if we continue the cycle of ignorance that creates it?

@Bear513 Schools that teach what are not your favorite subjects are not indoctrination camps.

Kids know about sex. Kids seek information on sex. Many of these kids already live with gay parents. Age-appropriate education can only create a wiser person and fewer...advocates for unthinking. And no one mentioned 6-year-olds.

@Bear513 Nope. Kept it going, my horrible parents. Then I asked for more in college. I still hadn't had enough by the time I was indoctrinated right into a master's degree. This indoctrination just doesn't stop.

Why are you so threatened by education? It's available in some form or another to everyone for free.

@Bear513 most children grow up see a (hopefully) loving heterosexual couple who usually show affection with each other. They learn most kids have mommies and daddies. You also get given blue stuff for boys and pink stuff for girls. Are you saying they're from an early age indoctrinated to cisgender heterosexuality?
