"US Election Integrity Plan" in Colorado is a complete fraud!

A group of Right Wing Election fraud conspiracy theorists and tRump supporters in Colorado calling themselves the "US Election Integrity Plan" have been going door to door in areas in Colorado with larger minority populations and asking questions which they have no right to ask. They are not Officials, they are just a bunch of idiots, but they are also armed and some wear fake badges and say they are from "The County"! This is a blatant attempt at voter intimidation as they are even taking pictures of the residents and their homes.

Some of the questions being asked:

Who did you vote for in the 2020 Election?
Where were you born?
Are you a registered voter?
Have you committed voter fraud?

There is only one answer to all of this:

Do you like my shotgun?

This group is also being sued by civil and voting rights groups who are seeking to invoke the KKK Act to stop them.

And yet you take it seriously and post about it.

@RedBaron I'd like to see how serious you would become if these people came to your door asking those questions? 😖
RedBaron · M
@spjennifer They wouldn't come to New York.
spjennifer · 61-69, T
@RedBaron Do you think it might be that's because New York is almost overwhelmingly Democrat and they don't permit "Open Carry"? I suspect they will only be doing this in the States where Open Carry is permitted and the vote was close...
RedBaron · M
@spjennifer Perhaps. But unlike you, I don't take such wingnuts seriously.
spjennifer · 61-69, T
@RedBaron If they were able to manage to change an Election by their actions, would you take them seriously? How long before this happens in multiple States?
RedBaron · M
@spjennifer They can't and won't. The election was certified by Congress last January 6th, despite the insurrection, and is final. And we have election laws to prevent the BS of a few people from changing anything. Don't be scared by the rantings of the few and give it credence by posting about it.
spjennifer · 61-69, T
@RedBaron tbh, I don't usually put much credence into stories like these but this is just one of the ways they are trying to change Elections, what other nefarious means are they using?
RedBaron · M
@spjennifer They can try whatever they like. They don't have power to change anything.
spjennifer · 61-69, T
@RedBaron They do if they're scaring people into not voting, realize that many minorities are already scared of ANY Authority and if these clowns tell them not to vote or to vote Republican or else, don't you think that could influence an Election?
RedBaron · M
@spjennifer Only if they can influence a large number of people, which I doubt they can. People aren't stupid, which you seem to believe they are.
spjennifer · 61-69, T
@RedBaron In some Counties the win by one side or the other is sometimes only 100 votes, that's not a lot of people to influence to change an Election. I'm certainly not saying that people are stupid but minorities who often fear any Authority could easily be influenced by these people masquerading as Authority with badges and guns, because of that fear.
RedBaron · M
@spjennifer Which means you are stereotyping minorities as afraid of authorities and not intelligent enough to distinguish between real ones and fake ones. Wow. Maybe it's because you haven't lived in a place with large minority populations, and thus haven't interacted with them. But are you listening to yourself and your condescending tone, however unintended? Your last comment brings me back to my point that people aren't stupid. Not even minorities.
spjennifer · 61-69, T
@RedBaron I have lived amongst and interacted with Minorities most of my adult life and am intimately familiar with their fear of Authorities as well as the reasons why. No, they aren't stupid, but fear makes people do strange things, still I can see this doesn't resonate with you so there's no point in continuing this discussion as your mind is made up...
RedBaron · M
@spjennifer Nevertheless, your generalization about fear of authority indicates that you see minorities as a monolithic group in which everyone thinks alike, rather than individuals with minds and unique personalities of their own. That's bigotry, plain and simple, and it comes from the left as well as the right. My wife, who happens to be Afro-Caribbean, experiences it often right here in our liberal neighborhood in NYC.

How many people of color have you ACTUALLY spoken to that resulted in such a sweeping generalization? One, two, five, maybe 10?

Give people credit for their intellects and ability to think instead of assuming that a few wingnuts can cow them into mindlessly rushing out and voting a particular way. Rest assured that they don't want or need biased white folks like you to protect them from evil fake authorities.
