"Enduring Peace Cannot Be Bought at the Cost of Other People's Freedom."

It's as true today as it was back then, and it's true on an individual, societal and global level. Suppressing human rights will always bring protest and pushback. Waging war can result in treaties but no lasting understanding and peace.

When you seek to steal the very thing you promise, you're the bad actor.
